• A traditional exhibition tannery and home of the luxurious hand-combed sheepskin. Skyeskyns is situated in Waternish, Skye, not far away from Seal Haven self catering cottage accommodation, on the Isle of Skye.
• Award Winning Skye Toy Museum
• Award winning Glendale visitor attraction on the Isle of Skye. The museum is on the Glendale visitor route, and ten minutes by car from Seal Haven Cottage. I recall the toy museum being established around twenty five years ago. It has developed into a special attraction and worthy of a visit by our cottage guests.

• Raven Press Gallery,the gallery of Kathleen Lindsley, wood engraver,printmaker and illustrator. Raven Press Gallery is located about 300 metres from Seal Haven holiday cottage, and almost next door to the Three Chimneys Restaurant. Additionally there is a traditional blackhouse, an old crofters cottage, nearby. Take a morning walk from your cottage, visiting the Raven Press Gallery followed by the blackhouse, which incidentally has an illicit whisky still, tucked into the hill behind it, reminiscent of bygone days. You might then finish your morning walk with lunch in the Three Chimneys Restaurant, on the shores of Loch Dunvegan.
