Both river and loch fishing is available and there are boats for hire on the lochs. Seal Haven self catering cottage is an ideal base for fishing association waters and other fishings.

• A nice site describing the fishing tuition offered by the Skye Ghillie. A good way to brush up on you fly fishing skills and to learn about the local waters on the Isle of Skye. Booking is required and you will find the Skye Ghillie not far from Seal Haven Cottage.

• An interesting blog describing pollack fishing from Scotlands rocky shores. The photographs on the blog are likely to have been taken on the Isle of Skye. There is a lot of rock fishing sites near Seal Haven cottage.

• This is useful resource for sea anglers generally. It is also included here due to the forum questions related to Skye fishing. It inludes the best week's fishing on the Isle of Skye, and also the worst. I suppose that not everone can be fortunate when angling.
