• The Walkhighlands award winning site is a "must see" for visitors to the Isle of Skye. Go to the Dunvegan and North-west Skye section for walks near to Seal Haven self catering cottage on Skye. Walkhighlands is an excellent resource providing free OS maps of all their walks. Sixteen walks are in the vicinity of Seal Haven Cottage. • The Arts and Crafts Association site provides a complete overview of artists, studios and workshops on the Isle of Skye. All the studios can be reached from Seal Haven self catering cottage, many just minutes away from your holiday accommodation.
• Scottish Natural Heritage - Seals
• A page from Scottish Natural Heritage discussing the seals in Scotland and the Isle of Skye. Links to other SNH pages and is an interesting read for nature watchers. Seals are at the bottom of the croft at Seal Haven self catering cottage in Skye.
• Forestry Commission - Kylerhea -
• The Otter Haven carpark is set in a spectacular location with fantastic views across the Kylerhea narrows to Glenelg and the Kintail mountains. On a nice day, this is a beautiful place for a picnic. From here there is a short walk along the forest road to the Viewing Hide. There is also a short loop walk through a very attractive area behind the hide.
  The otter hide is a nice drive from Seal Haven Cottage.
